Eduardo is countered while working out, with help from Marcia's and Joana's families, how the affair actually relates to illegal trade in medicine, with twists including the involvement of a crime lord.

Much to his despair, however, Una is attracted to another classmate. Peter escapes into a dream world in which he spends a wonderful time with a girlfriend made from snow. As springtime arrives, the snow girl is threatened by the thaw. In order to preserve their friendship, Peter locks his "Una" into a cold store.

Berlin during the Great Depression of 1929. Unemployed cab driver Emanuel sees no more opportunities for himself in the city and wants to try his luck somewhere outside. During a demonstration by the unemployed, a policeman is stabbed to death. Emanuel is suspected. He is arrested in the evening at Susi's revue.
